Umm pretty wide ranging in my taste.. ranging though Contemporary: Arctic Monkeys, Black Sabbath, Coldplay, Van the Man, The Doors, TC, Santana, Beatles, Chris Rea, The Cranberries, ELO, Hothouse Flowers, Jack Johnson, Kaiser Chiefs, Katie Melua, The Killers, Lighthouse Family, Macy Gray, Meatloaf, Oasis, Peter Gabriel & Genesis, Pink Floyd, Razorlight, Robbie Williams, Simple Minds, Thin Lizzy, U2, The Waterboys to Classical composers such as: Albonini, Bach, Beethoven, Bizet, Chopin, Corelli, Dvorak, Debussy, Elgar, Grieg, Mozart, Pachelbel, Paganini, Salieri, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Verdi.
I don't have a single favorite as I really, really enjoy reading and I hope I haven't read my best book yet, but these I can recommend as excellent reads although all very different: The Black Swan - Nassim Nicholas Taleb; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Steig Larsson; The Power and the Glory - Graham Greene; To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee; Captain Corelli's Mandolin - Louis de Bernieres; Long Walk to Freedom - Nelson Mandela; Taking on the World - Ellen MacArthur;
So hard to choose but these ones jump right out at me: Blade Runner (1982) - what atmosphere, what brilliance! Twelve Angry Men (1957) with Henry Fonda - phenomanal! A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - Hello Freddy! The Commitments (1991) - Where did Andrew Strong get that voice from! My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) - "I have three testicles".
